Since 2016, World Cyber Arena has been continuing its pursuit ofconstructing the eSports ecosystem of an Olympic Game-equivalent eSports scene.During last year's WCA Global eSports Summit and WCA 2016 Grand Finals inYinchuan, more than 20 guests from different eSports association of differentcountries formed an united force of WCA eSports Alliance. An alliance in theaim to bring the Olympian eSports tournament into reality.

In 2017, WCA wants expand its touch further into the continent.Cooperating with our honor member of WCA eSports Alliance, eSports Middle East(ESME), WCA will raise the eSports awareness in the Middle East and NorthAfrica region.

Featured on Sky News , CNN , Dubai TV and many others, eSports MiddleEast (ESME) is the fastest growing organization for competitive gaming in MENAregion, a non-profit organization launched in 2014 by the awards winning groupËLGOLDEN Net, aim to develop the eSports scene, raise awareness and supportlocal cyber-athletes to compete at global level. eSports Middle East is thefirst organization to get recognized by Arab State League's Arab TourismOrganization.

As an event organizer ESME has organized over 15 tournaments in 4countries, sponsored some of the world-finalist teams and players in differenttitles on multiple platforms. As a publisher ESME is the No.1 source for ArabiceSports content, publishing daily editorial and videos about news, interviews,education and tutorials in both Arabic and English, in August 2016 ESMEsigned a deal to publish its eSports content across 7awi Group websites networkreaching over 30 million monthly users. In November 2016 Google Newsstandapproved by ESME publisher, making it the first eSports magazine on itsplatform which is available for all Android and iOS devices. In January 2017ESME signed licensing agreement with Huawei to provide video content acrossMuchTV platform for leading telecom operators in the region such as ZAIN andVIVA.

This year, ESME will host WCA 2017 MENA Qualifiers, ranging over 3regions of Levant, North Africa, Gulf Regions. Dota2 and CS:GO will be theofficial titles competing in the qualifiers, including a total prize pool ofUSD $85,000.
